New hire will be charged with assuming the day-to-day operations of the firm, along with strategic growth initiatives, including boosting AUM from $750 million to $1 billion by 2026
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Integrated Financial Partners (“IFP” or “Integrated”), an independent financial planning and wealth management firm, today announced that Steve Faberman and Al Filosa’s long-tenured practice has hired John Piantedosi, CPWA® as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this newly created role, Piantedosi will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the subsidiary firm, allowing Faberman and Filosa to focus on prospecting and engaging with clients and certified public accountant (CPA) partners.
The two principals joined Integrated in 2003 after meeting at The Bulfinch Group in the Greater Boston area in 1995. Since then, they have carved out a highly successful practice, growing assets under management (AUM) from $600 million in 2020 to $750 million today. The duo is perennially amongst the most successful teams at Integrated Partners.
“Al and I are confident that John will have an immediate impact on our thriving practice by focusing on critical operational aspects of our firm while we continue to serve our valued high-net-worth clients,” said Faberman, Private Wealth Manager. “Our business has grown and evolved since I first met Al in the mid-90s. We subsequently needed to bring on a proven industry veteran who understands our firm’s culture and can help ensure we have time to serve our existing clients as we continue on our rapid growth trajectory.”
Piantedosi joins the well-respected and high-producing practice after having spent the bulk of his career working at Fidelity Investments in various roles, including as Senior Manager, Client Development – Family Office and most recently as Director, Product Manager – Wealth Advisor Solutions. He was awarded Fidelity’s ‘Exceptional Performance’ designation twice, in 2015 and again in 2020.
“I leapt at the opportunity to join a well-established advisory practice that also happens to be one of Integrated’s largest and longest-tenured financial planning teams,” said Piantedosi. “I’m looking forward to alleviating Steve and Al of their operational duties, freeing them to focus 100 percent of their time and attention on providing high-touch service to their existing roster of clients, while continuing to source new business. I’m eager to contribute to the firm’s growth and goal of reaching $1 billion in AUM.”
Piantedosi holds an MBA and a MS from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University as well as a BS in Business Administration – Accounting & Economics from Stonehill College. In addition, he is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® that holds FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
“As our practice continues to scale and reach new heights, we sought a COO that could assist us with strategic growth initiatives and vital operational work,” said Filosa, Private Wealth Manager. “We’re eager to onboard John and utilize his experience working with RIAs and family offices to contribute to our next phase of growth.”
