Entrustody Appoints Product & Tech SVP to Accelerate Strategic Roadmap

Fintech and wealthtech veteran Brian Kutmas to help spearhead next-generation platform development

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Entrustody, Inc., a modern, digital-first custodial platform, today announced the appointment of Brian Kutmas as its new senior vice president of product and technology. With considerable experience in wealthtech and fintech, Kutmas joins the company to spearhead the acceleration of its strategic roadmap. Entrustody’s goal is to develop the custodial platform of the future for registered investment advisors (RIAs) to better serve end investors.

Kutmas’s track record, cultivated over a span of more than two decades, positions Entrustody for continued success. Throughout his career to date, Kutmas has excelled in constructing enterprise SaaS solutions for fintech and wealthtech enterprises. Before joining Entrustody, Kutmas held the position of vice president of product at ContinuumCloud, a company specializing in cloud-based software solutions for the behavioral health and human services sector. Previously, he served as vice president of product development at NaviPlan, now a part of InvestCloud, and held product development leadership roles at Metavante Technologies and FIS Global.

“Brian’s unparalleled experience building and leading product development staff will greatly enhance our continuous efforts to integrate innovation while creating the custodian of the future,” said Patrick Moeller, founder and chief executive officer at Entrustody. “Our primary objective is to establish the market’s foremost RIA custodial experience, and Brian’s exceptional leadership and expertise will be instrumental in achieving this goal. The team we build is a reflection of the custodian we build.”

In his new role, Kutmas will lead Entrustody’s product and engineering teams, providing structure and guidance at a critical time in the firm’s growth trajectory. Entrustody has set out to disrupt the traditional custodial landscape by prioritizing transparency and a delightful user experience, catering specifically to the needs and preferences of RIAs. Kutmas will help position the firm to capitalize on industry tailwinds driving interest in custodial solutions that are aligned with advisors’ goals.

“Having worked closely with Brian at NaviPlan, I’m excited to see the impact he can have on our firm and the industry at large. Together, we are dedicated to reshaping the custodial space to align with the true needs and expectations of RIAs,” added Anthony Stich, chief revenue officer at Entrustody.
